What is HACCP certification?

HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point System – Hazard analysis system and critical control points. HACCP standards are the principles used in establishing food safety management systems.

HACCP certification is the activity of assessing and verifying that an organization/business has developed and applied a hazard analysis system and critical control points in accordance with the requirements and principles set out by HACCP. When the audit results are appropriate after the review of the audit documents, the organization/business will be issued a HACCP certificate.

HACCP auditing and certification will be performed by an authorized conformity certification organization.
